Closest Bus Stop: Benavente

You can pick between different bus routes to the Museum of Illusions from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Hop onto bus number 150 from Lima-Santiago Bernabéu and get down at the Sevilla bus stop around 700 meters from the Museum of Illusions Madrid. Although there you need to walk a bit, this is the fastest bus route. Alternatively, you can board bus number 14 from the Lima-Santiago Bernabéu bus stop and get down at the Neptuno bus station.

By Subway

Best For: Subway is the best mode of transportation for tourists who wish to avoid Madrid’s traffic during peak hours. 

Travel Time: 35 mins

Closest Subway Station: La Latina Subway Station

Board the subway on the dark blue line that departs from the Santiago Bernabéu subway station and get down at Tribunal. From here, you need to take the subway on the light blue line to Sol Subway station, which is around 750 meters from the Museum of Illusions Madrid. You can also take the subway to Alonso Martinez, from where you need to hop on to the green line to the La Latina subway station, a ten-minute walk from the Museum of Illusions Madrid. 

Driving Route

Best For: Driving to the Museum of Illusions is best for anyone who wants to keep the flexibility of travelling around in their vehicle. 

Travel Time: 20 mins without traffic and around 35 mins with traffic during peak hours

Distance: 6.9 kilometers

• The best driving route from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to the Museum of Illusions Madrid is via P.º de la Castellana. Get to P.º de la Castellana and continue driving for 5 kilometres until P.º de la Castellana becomes Pl. de Colón. Turn right onto C. de Atocha and go for around a kilometre before turning left onto  C. de Concepción Jerónima. Retake a left onto Calle del Conde de Romanones,  take the next two left turns, and you will find your destination on the left. 

Parking Facilities

Please note that the Museum of Illusions Madrid has no parking space. That said, there are many public parking spaces nearby. 

• Parking Trail: One of the closest parking spaces near the Museum of Illusion, this parking lot is just 60 meters from the attraction. 
• Parking Plaza de Santa Ana: Located 400 meters from the Museum of Illusions, this is an expensive yet, safe parking space close to the bustling Plaza de Santa Ana.  
• Parking Las Cortes: The parking lot is around 850 meters from the Museum of Illusions. However, it makes up for the distance with its convenience and safety in Madrid’s central district.
